We want our members to be comfortable and confident in their decision. Please refer to the West Virginia “at risk” guidelines to make the best decision for you and your family.

– Children’s Ministries will NOT be operating immediately, but as soon as we know when they will begin we will provide the information via website/Facebook/email.

*(If you don’t have a protective mask yet we have a limited supply of disposable masks. However, Mary Jo Fleming and others have offered making cloth ones for our members. Please contact her about getting one made or contact the church office so we can attempt to have one made for you to keep).

Message from our Pastor

Greetings Parkersburg First Family! A Few items I’d like to share with you… please read all 3 items:

1. We will not have our regular Sunday or Wednesday services for the next TWO weeks. During this time we do have online giving available in case you’d rather not mail your offering to the church office. Thank you so much for your faithfulness and generosity as we continue to pay the bills and support our missionaries who are counting on us during this difficult time! You Are Wonderful!

2. We will continue to provide video feed of Sunday services and short devotionals during the week in order to stay in touch with you. I WILL CONTINUE TO BE IN THE OFFICE AND AM AVAILABLE TO MAKE ANY NECESSARY VISITATIONS SHOULD YOU NEED PASTORAL CARE! Call the office or leave a message for us and we’ll get back to you ASAP.

3.FINALLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY -Put your hand on your heart…feel that? That heartbeat is proof that God’s hand is upon you and is still on the throne sustaining your life and my life. Scripture informs us that “HE (Jesus) is before ALL THINGS and IN HIM ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER” Colossians 1:17. When we feel like the world within us or around us is out of control He holds us and keeps us from falling apart. He loves us, He understands our concerns and emotions in the midst of these unique times. He doesn’t belittle us but instead offers us His Comfort and the Assurance of His empowering Presence and Provision! As we Practice Common Sense and adhere to the Recommendations of our Health Officials, hear the Word of the Lord, “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” Keep Your FOCUS on the Lord and His Word. Seek First His Kingdom and ALL the things you need shall be provided for you.

You Are Loved,
Pastor Brad
